Ordering Specifications for Woven Wire Mesh Commonly Stocked By Steellong Steel
Wire cloth is specified in terms of its mesh or opening, weave, wire diameter, and metal. When making inquires, requesting samples, or ordering, please give as complete details as possible about the material and its intended use so that you will receive exactly the correct material for your needs. The following information is necessary:
MESH--number of openings per lineal inch, or size of openings;
TYPE and WEAVE of cloth--standard or dutch, plain or twilled;
WIRE DIAMETER--in decimals of an inch: first warp, then Shute, if they differ;
METAL or alloy;
SPECIAL TREATMENT if any--special crimps, calendering, selvadging, etc.
QUANTITY and DIMENSIONS--width and length
INTENDED USE of the cloth--including temperatures, corrosive agents, etc.
IN CASE THE DATA OF THE WIRE MESH IS NOT ENOUGH,OUR TECHNIC STAFF WILL CALCULATE IT ACCORDING TO WHAT YOU GIVE,FOR EXAMPLE FILTRATION RATE.
